The Electron Microscopy (EM) Facility has emerged from the EM facilities run by MFPL and IMP/IMBA and has become operative in January 2012. It provides means for imaging the complex architecture of macromolecules, cells, and tissues at nanometer resolution using state-of-the-art conventional and cryo-techniques for specimen preparation and visualization. Furthermore, a tabletop scanning EM and ancillary equipment for specimen preparation is available.
