Besides scientific infrastructure, the CSF is offering social infrastructure to the Campus Vienna Biocenter, such as the Campus Child Care Facility. The Kindergarten is run by Wiener Kinderfreunde and hosts not only little researchers from the Campus Vienna Biocenter but from September 2012 onwards also young media kids from the Media Quarter Marx.

 

Our service:

First and foremost the head of our Child Care Facility, Dagmar Mirek, and her highly motivated team provide a loving and caring atmosphere. Besides that they offer:

  • extended opening hours
  • the possibility to attend a crèche from 3 months on
  • more personnel than obliged by Viennese law to ensure optimal care for the children
  • English lessons and carpentry with native speaker Betsy Higgins-Pösinger: www.williamsdaughter.at
  • a creative surrounding that includes excursions into the countryside, kids theatre, visits to strawberry fields, ice skating and everything a children’s heart desires

Helmut Qualtingergasse (Solaris building):
3 groups:

1 Creche for babies from 3 month to 1,5 years (10 babies/4 carers)
1 mixed age group (family group) for 1 to 3 years olds (15 children/2,5 carers)
1 mixed age nursery group for 3 to 6 year olds (25 children/2 carers)

Maria-Jacobi-Gasse (Media Quarter Marx):
2 groups:

1 mixed age group (family group) for 0 to 3 years olds (15 children/2,5 carers)
1 mixed age group for 1 to 6 years olds (20 children/2,5 carers)
1 mixed age group for 1 to 6 years olds (20 children/2,5 carers)

Our opening hours:

Monday – Friday: 7 am – 6 pm

 

Our fees:

0 – 1.5 years    EUR 290 per month
1.5 – 3 years    EUR 90 per month
3 – 6 years    EUR 65 per month

As soon as your kid starts eating solid food in the Child Care Facility there is an additional fee for food of EUR 87,70 per month.

Those prices apply to families that live in Vienna and are working for companies that contribute to the costs of the Child Care Facility. Prices for families living outside Vienna available on request.
